Date Range filter for 'Outcomes' download report

A date range filter to be added to the 'Outcomes' data range report that is currently available for customers using 'Outcomes' and CM Client Manager.

Customer Challenge

As a local authority reablement service, we need to be able to track how well we have done in making clients independent . This can be done by using 'Outcomes' and 'progression scores' in CM Mobile/Cm Client manager. Although a report is available that shows the outcomes and progression scores for our clients, that report DOEST have the same data range filter function that almost all of the other download reports in CM Client Manager have. This means that when we download the outcomes report it literally has every client we have ever recorded an outcome on included. Which, for a 6 week service like reablement, makes seeing the Outcomes progression scores for our current clients more difficult. Being able to set the data range before running the report will make that report far more useful and relevant for a 6 week reablement service. The date range filter would need to work off Outcome start dates.

Also, it would be good if the report pulled in the outcome scores for any clients who had their case closed (or who's outcomes have had an end date entered) during the selected date range.

Within a defined date range we want the report to provide a view for 'all clients' or Active Clients. or just 'inactive' clients.

NB- Within a defined date range, the outputs should include all clients who have achieved their outcome....or not,

Business Case

Overall, we feel that CM Mobile, CM Client Manager etc are barely sufficient in terms of a domiciliary service being able to record (what are effectively) updates to a clients care plan, (in this scenario the Reablement plan). The Outcomes function itself isnt great, we have a number of support calls logged about this, and this lack of date range filtering on the Outcomes report is just an extra frustration. All of these frustrations add up for customers, so if this specific frustration (lack of data range on outcomes report) can be fixed by the simple addition of a data range filter (which all of the other download reports seem to have), then great, that's an easy win all round.

Im not sure how many of your customer sites are actually using Outcomes & progression scores? if not many are, then you probably wont get many votes for this idea. But regardless, this idea will enhance the usefulness of the Outcomes/progression scores monitoring for any site tat does choose to use it.

I can see that this customer idea has now had its status updated to 'planned', so im hoping that means Access will now plan to do this small bit of development work on tyhat output.

If someone could give me a timeframe for when that development is planned to start / finish, id be very grateful.

    Regards, Tim

Hi Shy, its now been five months since we logged this request. This is ample time for others to vote to say if it is something they would also see benefit in being developed, and vote they have!

I can see that this suggestion has the highest number of votes of any development idea.

I also feel that this is a relatively simple development as its just the addition of a date range filter against a report, something you already have on other reports (so it must be pretty easy to deliver) .

Can I please ask that you now give a firm delivery date for a data range filter to be added to the 'Outcomes' report.

    Kind Regards, Tim

Great, thank you Shy, I think its a pretty easy little development, so hopefully there is sufficient interest and this can be implemented as a 'quick win'.

Understand the request, we will look to see when we can implement.

In the meantime we will leave to allow users to vote to determine the priority.
